This article tries to define an unlabeled Fiat Roosevelt "look alike" wheel. It is similar in style but different in every dimension. I'm going to try to put up some of the more important differences so that you can compare them to any wheels you might have .

From the picture at left you can see some of the obvious differences. First the center of the wheel is much larger and the spokes are heavier and thicker. You can also notice that the air valve is on the inside of the rim of the "mystery Wheel" and the ARE wheel has its valve on the outside of the rim.

The ARE wheel has a stepped center casting design. The mystery wheel has a straighter design. You will also notice if you look closely that the center section of the mystery wheel is over twice as thick as the ARE wheel. The ARE wheel is only 3/8" thick at the lug bolts and the mystery wheel is just a little under 1" thick at the lug holes. The mystery wheel also has a 1/16" lip at the end. The ARE wheel has a 5/16 lip to fasten the cap to the end.

From this picture it is easy to see the size difference n the two wheels. The center of the mystery wheel is almost 3/8" larger and with a larger center hole. FR/ARE caps will not fit these wheels. Also they are drilled for standard 1/2" mag wheel nuts, though the standard washers won't fit between the lugs and the center casting.

Here is a picture that shows the additional thickness of the black wheel and also the difference in the web reinforcement design of the ARE wheel. The black wheel is much thicker where the spokes join the outer rim.

The wheel rims are very similar in width and front polished rim width, but there is about a 5/8 inch difference in the thickness of the mounting flange that should act like a built in spacer

I will get a straight edge and compare the offset of the three different brands and try to get any other pictures and measurements that you might be interested in.
